IIC can work sustainably when individuals and organizations can support it by donating their time, money, expertise and also in kind.
We have been fortunate to have a regular stream of volunteers from across the globe. Several volunteers have donated their time and expertise to support our staff and also build their capacity. Many have also chosen to work with us long term in managing the shelters even!
There are a lot more who have donated in kind and continue to do so as we grapple with COVID.
We also encourage students of social work and others to intern with us to understand more about social and developmental work.
There is an enormous need to conduct research and understand the problem of urban homelessness in the context of India and also specifically for Bengaluru.
Your work can make a significant difference to root out the issue of homelessness from our society.
In every way, IIC is committed to ensure that the association with volunteers is a mutually satisfying experience – one of learning and understanding given the fact that most of them come from completely different circumstances.
Our volunteers ranged from common public, specialists & experts, students, documentarians, web specialists and many more.
Individuals and corporates based in India or abroad can volunteer their time towards our many activities to uplift the circumstances of the Urban Homeless. Please contact us at impactindia18@gmail.com
